Here's one way to reduce the chances or warping a new rotor. These are the instructions that come with each set of cryo treated Frozen Rotors (http://www.frozenrotors.com):

1. Make 12-24 progressively harder stops, bringing rotor temperature up to, but not exceeding 371C (700F) degrees. Do not drag the brakes!
2. Allow rotors to cool completely and inspect the friction surface for localized material transfer. If localized material transfer has occurred, clean it off using brake cleaner only.
3. Make 12-24 progressively harder stops bringing rotor temperatures up to, but not exceeding 538C (1000F) degrees. Do not drag the brakes.
4. Allow the rotors to cool completely and inspect the friction surface for localized material transfer. If localized material transfer has occurred, clean it off using brake cleaner only.

This procedure thermal conditions the rotors and will reduce the possiblity of thermal shocking (warp).

Put some temperature sensitive paint on the outside edge of the rotors to determine how hot the rotors get.

I bookmarked this one, sure sounds like a lenghty procedure? Have to find somewhere to do this or the sheriff will be a problem.
