Alright, the moment everyone has been waiting for!
I just spoke to my shop, and the group buy price will be $50 dollars. I still need to take into consider shipping logistics, but with the amount of people involved it should not be more then $5.00.
The way this will work, is that I will start accepting $22.00 NON-refundable (I dont want to get burned on this) deposit to pay for materials. If you want to do a full payment you can also do that.
I accept payment 2 ways:
-Money order from the post office
-Paypal: chaospook@yahoo.com - If you are paypal'ing me, you need to do a few things: First, include your Forum name as WELL as your real name. Second, Include the adress you want shipped to.
Ive got an excell sheet with all the names of people who voiced interest and will log everything from there.
The prototype is loaded into cad, and one will be cut within the next week for fitment. Once fitment is deemed sufficient, a full run will be cut (50+). Once they are cut and bent I will be putting the trim on them and let everyone know they are finished so full payment can be made.
Shields will be shipped in order of payment
I will keep everyone up to date on the progress as it unfolds.
DO NOT ADD YOURSELF TO A LIST. I will be keeping an up to date list of names when I recieve deposits/payments and will post it here
If there is anything I missed, or any questions post them here.

I have one last concern I just thought about. My zex nitrous box is mounted to the rear back panel of the battery box. Can I get a picture of the space between the battery and the heatshield. I need to make sure that this this fits before I send my money.

No discrimination here, but telling us you're Canadian helps the rest of us better understand your confusion. Looks to me like it's a full payment of $55.00 US or a NON-refundable deposit of $22.00 US. Somebody correct if I'm mistaken.

The full payment is $55. I need at least $22 deposit to get materials. You can pay any amount over 22 at this time.

I dont anticipate any problems with fitment. The MAF stays in essentially the same position on all cars.
The Shield is pressed between your maf and filter, so the filter is what holds the shield.

How close does it set next to your battery? Is there any room to move the heat shield closer?
I have the KKM and would also like it to fit the same way...meaning that I would still like to tap into the fenderwell ducting the way the KKM does...

It sits pretty close, but ill see what comes out of the machine next week and let you know. Im not sure you'll be able to keep the KKM hook up. But at the same time, I personally dont feel that you need it. Removing the snorkel and using this box is far superior (IMO). The air inside the box is cool, and gets constant cold air from the fender.

My deposit will be sent as soon as I see that this will fit with the other stuff I have in the engine bay.
