i have a 00 contour se zetec i just bought yesterday and the tires in the 2 front are 205 65 15 and the back is 195 65 15. i asked the dealer why are there bigger tires in the front then in the back?? he said well on the front wheel drive they put the bigger ones in front??? does this sound right later on this eveningim gonna put the smaller tires in the front for now till i get 2 new ones to match the 205 65 15. my next set is gonna be 215 60 15 well thanks guys

"The Dealer" is a idiot. Unless your car races at the drag strip, then there is no reason to have larger front tires then in the rear.

i talked to 2 mechanics they said the same this but the larger tires in the front there 1 size up than in the back said something about more traction. but it requires same size all the way around

you need to have 205-60-15's on there. God help the people in your area that goto that dealer....

correct. the person before probably needed new tires so they bought the "wrong" size probably cuz they were in stock and available. the dealer is trying to get u to shut up and leave it alone. they should all be the same size.
