$500 will get you LOTS of options, but for under $250, the JBL 1200.1 is great , maybe two of them?

Lanzar VHC1200 - $288 It'll put 560w to each of your Strykes.

560wrmsx2 at 1 ohm is cool, but the jbl is cheaper on eBay and its around 1400wrms

I would go with a JBL over a lanzar any day. The JBL's are excellent amps. The 1200 would be my recommendation as well.

The Strykes are rated at 500w each.
The 1200.1 is a great amp, but it has just gotten so incredibly boring. "Get a 1200.1" is about the most common post on this forum.
Just throwing out something a little different - a class a/b amp that can do 1ohm stereo for a total of 1100w.
I don't see many 1200.1 JBL's up on ebay anymore (especially new). Their auctions all seem to run close to $300. The 600.1 usually goes around $200-225. But, I'm sure there are exceptions for the vigilent ebay'er.
In any case, I've bought a couple of amps from www.audioblowouts.com and have been very happy with them.

Not knocking JBL as they're great amps, but I'd take a Lanzar OptiDrive over a JBL PowerValve. Just personal preference...
It wasn't long ago when people scoffed at JBL amps...
As for the Vibe/Viberant series and their overrated power ratings, that's definately a different story.
