Not a good idea at all, you might want to do a search for some of the posts that PA3LSVT started about his sho-shop prepped block...not very promising.

I do not trust the shoshop anymore. They are deceptive. Once burnt -- forever an enemy.
IMHO, don't buy anything from them.

Long story short: You can DIY or even pay someone else to do the mods cheaper (and right the first time). Even if you went with a 0 mile block like they sell. Especially if you get the 0 mile block from Bill Jenkins.

I agree with you all about The Sho Shop, i ordered the 3.0L Short Block from them on 12th December 2001 and it didn't arrive until 1st July 2002 and they charged my credit card $1900 (which included for shipping to the UK) straight away, they are liars i caught them out on numerous occasions when they had forgotten what they had told me.

You might want to get Terry's contact information, as this board is expected to go off the air temporarily until new hosting arrangements are finalized. Don't know when that is, but there is also a Contour mailing list at www.coldair.org so you can pass e-mail messages to CDW-27 enthusiasts. TB
