The dyno will show a smaller performance difference with larger rims than real world driving will.

I've always heard that 1lb of rotating mass is like 8lbs of body weight..if that makes sense. So if you take 2lbs off per rim, (which is 8lbs), it would like lightening the car by 64lbs.....

Actually, say if they're 5lbs a piece heavier, you'll hardly notice a difference. 1-2hp maybe, tops.

I did see a dyno of a Civic DX that lost 9hp because of different wheels, but that was going from 14" stockers which weighed about 16lbs to 19" chrome wheels which weighed 29lbs. HUGE difference.

Well, I bolted the 16's on for a night and went driving....Yes there is a big difference now. Altought it doesnt look as good as it doesn with 18's...it is faster. Thanks for the info on all that guys. Now that I know how much it effect the car..I may cruise around with the stockers on more!
