I don't think they make a red for our cars. Only the yellows.

They make a red. Koni makes a strut spring kit for the mondeo using Koni reds. There was group buy going for this kit but it stalled out.

Nope. Those are the yellows. Only the springs were "red." The reds are not top-knob adjustable. The yellows are. (Plus that yellow paint is pretty much a giveaway :p )

However, I stand corrected, in part. If you follow the link below and look up "Ford Amerika" Contour, you'll find only the "Sports" or "Yellows." But under "Ford Europa" there are some "Reds" part numbers for some of the Mondeos.

If you really want the reds, maybe Terry could work something out?

So, in the group buy for the koni suspension kit, Terry was selling 4 koni yellows and koni springs for $600? Are you sure about that? That seems to be a very low price....

I thought the group buy was for a european Koni kit using Koni reds and Koni springs.

This was the group buy I was talking about..I have know idea what group buy your talking about.

The 'reds' in the original 'clip' was incorrect, Mike Sidels kit was sport yellow's and ROC springs..not red..

So..they dont' make reds for the contour?...

I just want the best struts I can get for the buck and am looking around. The Koni(sports) are just alittle to exensive for me right now. I was hoping to get the "reds" if they make them...

Terry, any word on that Koni kit? I really need to replace the suspension in my car and I am holding out to buy this Koni kit if it is the same price or lower as the BAT kit.

The reds are not imported to the US for the Contour/Mystique, but they are made for the European Mondeo. I'm guessing that by the time you bought them from a British vendor and had them shipped, you'll wish you had bought the Yellows from a US vendor, but you could always ask.
