I remember Terry Haines said that mechanical oil pressure guage is more accurate than electrical ones. But is it harder to install? I mean if I use mechanical guage, I have to have a tube or something right? Would it be easier to just get electrical guage?

Electrical is easiest because you just run a wire into the passenger compartment.

With a mechanical gauge, you have to bring an oil line into your car.

I had a mechanical oil pressure gauge 20 years ago on my 66 Nova that required you to check the gas and fill the oil at every fillup. It never leaked, but always worried me.
