I am sorry, and I hope you don't hate me for saying this, but homestarrunner.com has got to be the dumbest website I have ever seen. All of these flash cartoon websites are the same. They lack serious creativity, and in homestarrunners case, humor. I mean, yeah, homestarrunner would be funny if I were 8 years old. If you want humor online, I reccommend you go to www.theonion.com. A fair warning for you homestarrunner fans: You will actually have to read something. The Onion is for a more mature audience, and a lot more interesting if your age is in the double-digits. Well, don't hate me for saying all that. Just remember our uniting force, the Ford Contour.

Our "uniting force" isn't something that you throw in the end of a post that you know people will hate, just to keep them off your back...

Fact of the matter is.... Your opinion of The Onion is great, and telling us that there is a fair amount of reading is nice, but resorting to "IF you are in the double-digits, etc, is uncalled for..

In fact, strongbad is one of my FAVORTIE sites, and I have it bookmarked, as such. It is a favorite amongst the majority of CEG... so... Thank you for your opinion, and carry on..

Good thing I'm stupid or I might be offended.

SARCASM WARNING!!!!!

Ya know what would be cool? If at all the CEG meets we could all standing a circle (or cool shape of your choice) and in unison yell.....CONTOOOOOOOOOURS UUUNITE!!!!!!!!!
And then do some real cool hand gesture.

I'm up for buying him a whole case.
laugh

just cuz people watch flash cartoons doesn't mean they don't also get their humor from other sites.
I have been to The Onion numerous times.

watching cartoons does not make someone a child.
can you say The Simpsons? highly doubtful that their target audience is a bunch of 8 year olds.
a good amount of the homestar humor is also not directed at kids.

bah I digress, there's no need for me to stand here and defend why I enjoy the things I enjoy...

Yes, theOnion is humorous.... but I think it is full of a lot of useless not funny filler material ("Gym teacher secretly hates nerds", "Man As Surprised As Anyone That He Knows All The Members Of 'N Sync" - Come on). I think fake or useless news gets kind of boring. Homestarrunner is a fun (and funny) diversion from the daily workload. Just my 2 cents. Strongbad rules! - 3 cents.
