ok, im going out on a limb here...what is wrong with ricers? here comes the a$$ kicking....i personly like them..my good friend had an intregra, and man, that thing screamed. i think i would take that over a tour.. it was just as fast, a little low on handleing...but the aftermarked supply would be great...plus being japanese..the resale is always better...you can still sell a '94 integra (1st year of gen III) with about 70-80 thou. miles for 5g, if not more.. anywayz just a though...and here comes the critism..

my '94 beretta z26 is worth about 4K. it wasn't a slow car...handeled pretty well, was fine while driving it in the winter, etc. etc.

i think you have the idea of "ricers" wrong though. nothing is wrong with a civic, or an integra, or a prelude or any of those cars. what makes them ricey....are the huge (and pointless) wings, the obscene paint jobs, the rediculous body kits, the 6' exhaust tips, etc. etc. I'd take an Integra or a Prelude....I just wouldn't put on all different sorts of badges and stickers with a double wing and a Veilside body kit.

dude, you got the wrong idea about what is a ricer and what isn't. Just because something is a Japanese cardoesn't mean it's automatically rice. Rice is all the tacky poser crap people put on their cars, like the giant wing on the back that's supposed to look like a race car wing and does nothing but add drag on a street car. Stickers all over the car is typically considered ricey, especially if the products proclaimed on the car are not installed on it. Stuff like that.
There really are very few (but ignorant) folks that will not respect a tastefully done, and very fast import, whether it be a Honda Civic, or a Toyota Supra (though it takes a LOT of cash to make a civic fast in a straight line)

It's all about balance.

i guess its all on how you look at it....i've always considered ricers any small car "riced" out...i.e. exaust, bodykit...and what not...but if the owner like the stuff they do to it....why stop them? i know, i know...there is a civic DX up here with a HUGE alluminum wing on the lid...but its got a SIR badge, so it must be sweet...anywayz. i don't, however, consider all japenese cars reicer...i mean my aunt drives an accord...anything from a rice car...but whatever.. INSERT MORE FLAK HERE \/

dude you need to calm down. if you wanna get b!tched at, you can ask for it. and if you wanna get b!tch smacked, you can ask Judge.....but you dont need to beat around the bush for either. Everything you said....is basically what Rara and I said. We all agreed Ricer cars aren't cars just made in Japan. Calm down dude.
