Alumni University of Oregon '00 BS Accounting

Although I had a family in college I still loved the experience. It was hard work but a lot of fun. I also worked for the UO athletic department for 4yrs and made a ton of friends as I attended every football, mens basketball, womens basketball and track & field event.

Some of my favorite classes:

Film as Literature
Film in the Fifties
Cultural Anthropology: Religion, Cults, and other
Women & Gender in Chinese Literature
Pop Culture in China
Sociology - Family Violence

Without a college degree I really doubt I would have the earning power that I do now and the future is very bright.

If the poll is for those that went to school most are going to "Love it".

If the poll is for those that are going to school most are going to "Hate it".

What you're thinking now is perfectly normal. It didn't take long afterwards for me to realize that college was the best years of my life though.

yep, pretty much hated it.
It was enough to make me never want to go back, even for a graduate/masters degree.
I burned myself out, and do not want to ever have to type an essay ever again.
I barely retained any of the information either.

Learning through experience ftw

I am interning right now as a mechanical engineer and I can see all my hard work at school paying off in the size of pay check I get as apposed to some one who never attended college.

You will hate it, it will fly by, and in the long run it will be worth all the hard work.
