I just had my front bumper and Mirko splitter painted for 280 and they had to fix the crap with the splitter (lousy fiberglass work if you ask me) and the bumper needed some work because the previous owner of my car smacked into something and the paint was chipping. I removed them from the car and brought them in for that price. The same guy said he could paint my car starting around $2200 then it goes up from there depending on what I wanted to do.

I was quoted anywheres between $2000 and $3000 to paint the entire car black again by 3 or 4 different shops in my area. To pay that much for just a few articles of the car is insane. 
I call my E0 Claire.
24 hour what?
I'm looking to buy a like-new condition SVT grill, and a shift knob that works with the reverse lever PM me with the details.

I would have expected around 1000.00 for what you want painted...

I Agree... But im woundering if this shop knows that they are ford stock parts... When I had my SE skirts painted and mounted the guy doing the work was going to charge me a hell of a lot more then expected... untill I told him "no, they are ford stock parts, made from plastic" his price cut in half and I took him up on his offer.
Does this body shop know that the body kit you have is plastic and not Urithane or fiberglass? Because that really changes the price of the job, there is a lot more prep work for those materials.

i do all my own paint and body work...
not that hard if you have at least a small idea of what youre doing and take your time!

I had my front and rear bumpers and side skirts painted up for around $1200. I might have gotten a better deal but I had them done at different times and the first shop started being dicks so I brought the rear and sides someplace else. Oh and they also took out a few little dings that car with the car.

i got my side skirts painted for 100$ each, and my fron bumper will be 150$ to be painted.. u all must be gettin your paint with some gold 24k flakes or soemthing..

I got quoted $1200 for my whole car.  A friend of mine at work his brother does body work in a shop he asked his bro how much it would be and I also seen his work in a magazine too, it looks like good work too.

I got my whole car painted for $1100. No problems with it.
They gave me a tour of the shop and they were very nice.
BTW- came in 2nd place at Import Wars, New England Dragway.
2000, thats a ripoff. A bodyshop should paint the front,rear, and sides for $1000 or less. Anymore and its a ripoff.
