Try a shipping calculator on a web site like Fed-Ex or DHL. Select ground service.

Cheapest way to is two put two wheels in each box, so only 2-boxes to ship rather than 4.

I had 17" wheels shipped from CA to IN via UPS and it was iirc around $110 or so.

You know, I thought shipping 2 wheels would be cheapest too, but after doing some calculations on their website, shipping all 4 together was cheaper. Unfortunately, the guy I bought them from, shipping them as 2 sets.

The wheels come with tires? If yes...

Get some free cardboard from any retail store, cut out round circles 1" bigger than the size of your wheels, for both sides of the wheel. Fill the inside of the wheel with newspaper to give the 'back' cardboard side some support. Buy some shrink/stretch wrap on a roll (10bux) and wrap the entire wheel and tire.

If the wheels come without tires. I'd still do the same thing, but wrap the outside of the wheels (edges) with a buttload of bubblewrap. Play it safe.

do this. i work for ups. i wouldnt ship 2 wheels in one box. i wouldnt even want to receive wheels in this manner if they were my wheels that i ordered. do each wheel separately. u never go wrong with overpacking. use think cardboard circles or two pieces of cardboard for each side to make it thicker and better at avoiding hits from other pkgs on the "face" side of the wheel.

This is exactly how we ship our wheels from the warehouse. Its actually cheaper to ship each wheel on its own, as well, and lets you ship via UPS instead of UPSCS.
