I have a T-Maxx 2.5 and I blow out the reverse gear in it today. I am looking for a trans rebuild guide or something. I have rebuilt everything on the truck except the trans. anybody know where I can find this?

I do believe you get more power to the ground because of the less rotating mass. IDK check. www.traxxas.com or www.tmaxx.com on their forums to better explain it

Tear the engine out while you're at it. Drop in the new 3.3 w/FOC and you'll be balls out happy.

I would just ditch the T-maxx before spending any more money on it, but thats just me

I wish I could put that motor in it. I have the entire truck torn down. I broke the metal tabs that hold the front suspension on off the chassis. I just ordered a new one. I need to get a new brake disc, drive shaft, and FOC gear and shaft. only problem is everybody is out of stock on the FOC parts. anybody have any laying around they want to part with. or just an entire RC car. I have a laptop I can trade.

In monster trucks the only two I would even consider are the Savage and the LST. All other trucks are inferior. IMO, none can stand up to the Savage for strength, especially not a Traxxas (I know this first hand). The LST is close. The AE offering is underpowered. This is for general to hardcore bashing. The Savage isnt a good racer without some work.
