Who is the cheapest for shipping wheels and tires? I need to give someone a quote for shipping mine out.

I usually ship USPS or FedEx, but that is for small items. Never shipped anything large.

I think most people use ups.

The best way to do it is through UPS and just cut out cardboard circles and strap (plastice or metal banding NOT TAPE) them over the face of the tire/wheel. Most of the time it's cheapest to bundle 2 wheels together at the same time. Make sure that the faces of the wheels are facing each other to the inside as long as they won't rub each other or place enough bubble wrap between them that they won't rub. Wheels are very easily damaged going through any shipper if they aren't in a separate box packed in foam, so make sure to take extra precautions, take pictures before you ship and take pictures of them packaged for shipping. Also make sure to insure them for either replacement value or at minimum the value you sold them for.

Thanks Rick! I'll do that when I ship them out.

Every time I have shipped wheels/tires FedEx ground is the cheapest. Pretty easy to calculate it on their website so you could see if this still holds true.
