Just thought I would share a couple pics of how my car sits now. It has been off the road for approx 39weeks maybe more (sat in my driveway for most of that time) , so this is a big step that the engine is finally out lol. Only things I really have left to do before I send the car for paint is my springs, brakes lower control arms and fix the corroded wires and well of course install the 3L and transmission.

Sneek peek at my bling (please note car is jacked up and wheel gap will not be there when completed lol)

I removed it for ease of mind...if the engine decided to swing ...I didn't want to puncture it.

Dunno. Thought there was plenty of room IMHO.

Idk, after doing it four or more times it just becomes habit.

No Kidding! Just one time and the radiator will be toast. Aside from that, it gives so much more working room on the reinstall.

It is only held up by four little bolts and with the hoses already undone.....

For the guy working on the car:

You have to support the ac condenser with some wire but man it is so worth it I think.
Also, it is much easier to disconnect the power steering pump lines and have the pump already bolted/torqued in place before dropping the engine.

Wiring harnes should be taken off now and reinstalled on the engine. Just pop loose the power steering resevoir to get the PCM connector. Take a ten milimeter socket and extension and unbolt it, it will unscrew and come loose. Then there will be about two or three plugs to undo and you'll have the harness off. It is sooooo much easier to plug everything in with the engine on the ground.
