OP Porgieanne316 CEG\'er P Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 212 New York	Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone can give me anytips of making an Xbox DVD ROM NOT THE WHOLE unit fit in the area of the car. SpeakerBoxxx Veteran CEG\'er S Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 951 Columbus, OH	um.... i dont think you can make the xbox dvdrom drive work far away from the motherboard, because of the uncommon wires that connect the two. but to make it turn on and off, wire an inverter off of a relay, and there's a thing called a doorbell mod that uses a wireless doorbell trigger to turn the Xbox on. or you can just buy my modified Xbox and store your games on the harddrive, so you could put the xbox in the trunk, buy a wireless controller and be set to go. you'll never need to access the dvd drive. it also plays divx movies and such 1999 SE White AVH-P6500DVD Infinity Reference 6500CS Pioneer 5x7s Punch 360a2 Punch 500a2 Adire Tempest in a custom sealed 3.4cuft box Modded Xbox Still need Midnight Cloth Headrests... and if somebody has fold down rear seats....

Would the IDE cable (in my case would be the slimline w/power included) be able to work from the trunk to the dash? Or is that way too much line loss? If that wouldn't work, I was thinking USB or maybe custom fitting the computer behind the dash somewhere.
