The bodyshop dude gave me a bit of a tip for sanding the filler: He says to use about a 1 foot long peice of 2x4 or something rigid and straight, wrap the sandpaper around it, and holding the contraption horizontally, work it in a vertical up-down motion all accross the seam. Let me tell ya, it works really well. Now i can see all the low spots of my crappy hand sanding job, and let me tell ya, there's a lot of em

A little more filler, some quality feathering, and it should be ready to go back to the body shop by tomorrow.

I like the idea of making a mold of this thing. After all this work, it would suck the big kacheeba if something happened to this thing. I just dont think there's going to be enough interest in another Pre-98 SVT front bumper GB to warrant it. But if there was, I'd totally do it.

Finally, its at the bodyshop being painted. Getting it just right is a lot of work on a curved surface. I've probably got almost 20 hours into this project now, and I still can't say its "perfect".
