Does anyone play Socom 3? I love this game!! Way better than the previous Socom games. The only thing I don't like is the high amount of friendly fire.
Anyone have any questions/comments on the game?

Yes. Unfortunately, I'm one of the many that is having mic issues. I can talk but I can't hear anything. I've tried every possible solution, so I guess I'll have to wait and hope that a patch comes out that fixes it.
I go by Corporal and usually play between 6pm and 10pm CST, except for Fridays and Saturdays when I can play all night, assuming we're home.

Hey gang, as soon as my husband gets home, I will have him post on here about this. He got it the day it came out and sat here in the living room for like 3 days almost. There was one day he got up around 7am, played ALL day, all night, and went to bed around 5am, then got back up at 6am and started all over again. He REALLY likes it. LOL. Like I said, I will have him get on here and post his screen name and all, maybe you all could get a game going or something.

i say we get a CEG clan going. Im on there as loggerbomb.
I been playing mostly respawn games till i get adjusted to te maps and what not. I got to play the beta, and they seem to have changed a few things. I like how they locked the IW-80 and made the STG an equal and locked it too. Seems like the f-90 and 552 have been improved, though the M14 seems weak as hell. Anyone who likes sniping will love this game.

wow, that is dedication! I play it alot but not THAT much!
Yeah there should be a patch coming out soon because there are some issues of course. Like tracking the stats, and I have mic issues sometimes as well. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...
Has anyone tried single player mode yet? I think I might give it a try but I heard it takes a while. I also heard it was way easier than Socom II.
I have Socom 1, 2, and 3 and I havent played a single player mission yet.

I played single player in SOCOMI. Never played it in SOCOMII. I beat SOCOMIII as a Commander in a couple of hours. It's not hard at all if you're any good online. I just ran through the stages and wasn't worried about all the bonus stuff. I only did it so I could have the Guille suit. I'll have to beat it again, as an Admiral I suppose, to unlock a few more characters online, as well as the pistol grip and medium scope.
