who's got it, have you had any problems with it? I'm thinking to finally redownloading a d/l service, i haven't had one since Kazaa a few years ago, i've crashed too many times due to that stuff, not to mention spyware and stuff, any ideas or comments are welcomed.

I'm not a huge fan of torrenting, but I would torrent before I went back to a download service like that... but then again I havnt used limewire in ages so it may be the greatest thing.

also try checking out mIRC (i think you need the ircn mod for it) and the xdcc bots (www.xdccspy.com and even www.isohunt.com)

Limewire 4.97 is the best on the market right now. No problems as far as pop-up ads, no hacks, no viruses. Was recommended to it from a close friend.

Best of all, every song is problem free. No static, no abrupt endings, no misrecordings. It's lightyears ahead of Kazaa and the original Napster.

FWIW, though, I don't use it terribly often lately as pirating music has been back up in the news with Kazaa being sued/going out of business.

yeah, i decided to d/l limewire, it's good so far, under and hour and i alreeady have like 30 or so songs haha.

its sweet but my computer crashed more then a few times and i realized that it was limewire. this problem may or not have been resolved with newer versions; i have not used the program in a while.

limewire is most likely the best tool to download media.

u just gotta have good protection, i have a adware program and a nortan program, they are always finding things over each other, i have limewire and i like it, its in my opinion a good sturdy program, i have quite a few files downloaded.
