Required? Pshhhhh! Bought mine with $112k and I can almost guarantee the previous owner(s) didn't do it at 60k. Nor did I at 120k. The car ran REALLY strong when I got rid of it with 136k miles.

I would definitely go with the SHO over the Contour SE. Given the choice though, I'd take a CSVT over the SHO.

Contour, but I don't always do what makes sense: I just love the cars more. I never got into SHOs. Too heavy, too Taurus.

I got the SHO, but it needs some work done to it. It isn't anything I can't fix.
