Local Fry's has these on sale today for $59.99.

Opinions peoples?

Hoping for some good mid-bass as I am disappointed in the speakers I have now.

Great speakers for $60. Tough deal to beat.

OK,

I am running JBL GTO 6.5" components in my front doors powered by a Sony CDX780 45x4 deck and my mid bass is horrendous, sounds blown but how so when I am running such low power confused . The crossovers on the JBL suck for sure as they are inline on the tweeter and there is small cap glued to the midbass. Tweeters are great, nice and crisp.

Hoping to hell if I spend the $60 on these it will cure my issues! I figure if I can get the JBL's up and running again I can just use the Polk's in the rear doors.

Todd, those Cadence look alright, but shipping of $20 at Ubid is a bit steep.

You'd probably get best results by adding an amp to your components and running a dedicated passive crossover like this one: Soundstream Exact 4.3

The problem is the very low power you're sending to your components. It's actually around 15w RMS/continuous per channel (the peak power rating of 45w is a useless measure that's purely marketing jargon). Swapping in components with a lower sensitivity will only make it sound worse.

Crutchfield still has this nice JBL GTS180X for $80 that would really help your components.

There are also tons of good 2ch amps you could pick up off of ebay for much less than $100. I picked up an new MTX Blue Thunder PRO502 amp for $50 a couple of months ago.

Fry's is a giant west coast retailer that sells things insanely cheap. They only deal in electronics and appliances. www.outpost.com.

They are marked at $69.99 currently.

They have Polk EX 502a coaxials on open box special for $29.99 as well.

I bought the set, figured if I was gonna spend $30 + shipping on new crossovers why not just pay $65 w/ tax. They are very very nice! Guy who sold em to me said some guy picked up 10 sets. Check Ebay for his auctions
