Hey everyone - A few of my work buddies were watchin Harold and Kumar go to White Castle this weekend and realized we have never tried a White Castle burger.
So - we're planning a road trip - either next Friday or the Friday after that (1st of April).
I'll be heading to either the one in North Bergen, NJ - Little Ferry, NJ or Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
Of course, we would like to take a few "side trips" so can anyone recommend any "scenic clubs aka strip" that are on the way in either New York or New Jersey? I'll be heading 95 South from Rhode Island...
Any detours that are worth taking, etc...

I too heard the other day that WC was a NJ thing. Anyway, to the author of the thread: your road trip is not gonna be half as exciting unless u r in the Harold&Kumar's condition, ya know

HaHa... No - There are NOOOOO White Castles anywhere near here. And yeah - after watching that friggin movie, it got me craving White Castle burgers and I've never even tried them. And shhh..... I'm hopin I get some munchies at 3am! lol.

The frozen one from the store aren't nearly as good as the real thing. Probably about a month ago me and my friend did what you're about to do. We drove 2.5 hours to bet to Orange, NJ went to white castle for about a half hour and turned around and went home.

With all of this talk of White Castle, I went to the one in Rutherford (off of Rt. 17 S) today for lunch. Had me a sack of 20. Yum, belly bombers! I can't wait to see my girlfriend later on.   heh heh heh
Edit: Second thought, that may have been the Hasbrook Heights one. It was still good!
