Also.. I'm pretty sure the gearing was NOT designed for misleading track times. We have to shift into 3rd before we get to 60, that adds a chunk right there unless you're a good shifter.

I have heard about this "granny shifting" here and there, but I have never been for sure on what this ment, could someone clarify this for me. Possibly explain how the best/fastest way is. All I do is push in the clutch, shift, and let off the clutch as fast as I can

Then, other than "power shifting", you are doing it as fast as you can. Though some people still might consider your shifting granny shifting if you're not doing it as fast as them. Some people can shift extremely fast. Granny shifting is just slow shifting.
