I notice alot of guys have their make number in their profiles. Where can I locate my make number? I would think that it's on the car. I thought I found it on the front passenger door but it was a label that was rubbing off!Probably something engraved like the VIN number is?

nope, the "make number" you describe is the place in the entire SVT production run (for that model and that year) that your SVT was built in. To determine the number from your car, call 1-800-FordSVT (ask for Matt or Mark, they are both stupid enough to tell you ) and give them your VIN, and they will tell you your build #. And further, if you prove ownership of the car to them, you might be able to talk them into mailing you a certificate w/ said build # on it and your VIN, proving that your car is an original SVT.

Hey thanks alot man! Do you know if I would have any luck contacting 1-800-FORD about getting an original brochure for a 99' SVT? Thought ebay would help but only found 98's!
