Ok, I have another weird occurance..... I was trying to find out why the car was idling at 2K... I wanted to see if I was getting vacuum (later to find out that i had the vacuum bass ackwards) Originally I had the "out" line from the egr solenoid connected to the IMRC... don't ask.... Anyway, I took the V. Line off of the IMRC and closed it (remember this was hooked up to the egr solenoid) and blocked it off with my finger to see if it was getting vacuum... it was. I held it there for a few seconds and the pressure built up, then the car stalled and would not restart. Later, found a v. Line had melted down, replaced it, and then took off the UIM and CORRECTLY hooked up the V. lines. Re-installed the UIM and the car still won't start. It will only turn over and over, and now, the engine shakes as she turns over... Any ideas? Could I have damaged the EGR solenoid by blocking off the "out"? TIA

If the engine shakes as it turns over how could you have no spark? You may have a weak ground. The coil pack is grounded right? Also the ever present 3 harnesses that get a lot of people. They are on the passenger side attached to a bracket on the valve cover. They must be clipped COMPLETELY.

Yeah, that's what got me the first time it wouldn't start. I did have it running for about a week. the engine no longer shakes upon cranking, i believe that the inline vacuum check valve was not in the correct place. It is now and is no longer shaking upon cranking. However, still no spark. I checked EVERYTHING!!! Well, at least that I think. Good call on the big 3, however this is not the problem.... any other sugestions?? thanks for all the help.

as a side note, the pin connection to the coil pack can be tested with a multimeter correct? I did check power to it with a multimeter and came up with nothing... Running out of places to turn.
