Given that there's a hell of a lot more choice on the wheel front if you've got 5 wheel studs instead of 4, does anyone know if it's possible to replace a Cougar or mk1/mk2 Contour hub with a mk3 Mondeo (UK) hub?

Thinking about this further, does anyone know who actually makes the Ford hubs, are they made in the far east? It would be great if we could get in there before they drill out the 4 holes for the studs and get 5 x 108 pcd holes put in there instead

If there was enough demand, this certainly isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

Sure, maybe not EVERY wheels is available in 4x108mm, but thanks to the Focus a lot more are very day.

If it fits a focus, it'll fit our cars.

I've yet to be stuck with finding wheels I like to fit.
There are plenty of tuner wheels available in 4-lug pattern (thanks to Honda). Now if you want the bling-bling chrome spinner, ghetto-fabulous wheels, sure it's a lot harder. But you have to ask yourself. Does that even look good on these cars. The answer is no, unless you like being laughed at!

No bling bling wheels for me, have always liked wheels like BBS RC and most recently Konig Imagine.

The choice of wheels is very limited in the UK.

C'mon, you guys have Foci too. So you should be able to get just as many as us, if not more, seeing as Foci are more popular over there than here.
