Well the KYBs and the B&Gs were installed. It looks great. The car dropped a bit lower than I would have liked, but the hideous wheel gap is gone in the front. It's got a little bit of a raked look, not sure why the back is higher, but the ride is awesome. Can't wait to test it on some twisties! Thanks for the advice guys.
i give it 4000 miles at best before his wheelwells are full of shock oil.....
I know we're raining on the parade but I have KYB's on stock springs on my SHO. It's part beater although in very good shape. I just wanted stock dampening and I think I would have been better with stock Ford struts.
Yeah but Todd she's on Intrax springs which are pretty slammed.
It's a totally different ball game here.
Nothing ever changes around here, does it. I appreciate it, ya'll, really I do. I'm happy with it, and contrary to CEG opinion, it will last for what I need it for.
what do you need it for?? do you need it for driving?? then id probably believe them over you.. sorry there darling
I am just wondering why they will die? I have the Eibachs/ST200s for over 100k and no problems.
I had all m,y original struts for 160k miles then they just seemed to die quickly and almost overnight.
Hector - she bought KYB's
They're even softer and cheaper than the OEM struts.
Congrats Sunshine. I'm sure you'll be happy for the time being. So are you looking for rims yet?
Hey, I'll give you a call later Heather so you have someone to brag to!!!
Heather, how's the ride so far on the KYB/B&G setup and how many miles on that puppy since the install? Fill us in...
XL
I Had The Same Setup On My CSVT And The Front StrutsWere Still Holding Up for Well Over 6000 Miles Until I Hit The Front End Of My Car With A Wall... The Only Downside That I Came Accross Was OverSudden Dips In The Road, The Front End Would Sometimes Bottom Out Due To The KYB's Not So Good Valving....But It Will Definitely Get You Around For A Year Or So Until You Decide To Go With Something Better. B&G Ride Height Rules!!!!
Gawd damn I hate your posts. F'n headache!!
No kidding! I don't understand why you'd do that!
There must be a setting on his computer that capitlizes the first letter of every word. Otherwise he's got some tired pinky fingers from hitting the shift key!
