i will be ordering mesh within the next 2 weeks.
i need to know how many people want mesh.
the cost will be $50 shipped anywhere in the US.
you will get 3 pieces of mesh.
one for the rear bumper
one for the front bumper
and one for the grill.
the bumper pieces will be cut to size with slots cut out for the mounting tabs on the bumper. so all you will have to do is remove your factory insert and slide the mesh onto the bumper.
i recommend cutting out the cris-cross pattern on the factory insert and using 'frame' of the insert to hold the mesh in place using the factory clips.
the grill piece will be a piece of mesh large enough to do your grill, you will have to take your grill apart and install the mesh.

I have an SE also. IIRC, the SVT mesh kit can be used on the SE, you just need less material. Please confirm.
VERY interested....on question-
can i get (is there a price break for) just the oval and svt front grilles, i don't own, or have the intention of putting an svt rear on my car, so the mesh for it is useless to me.
custom orders will be dealt with during the group buy.
i will give a discount for those who only want smaller amounts of mesh.

I may be interested in this, when is the cut off for it then in 2 weeks? What exactly do you mean by intalling it in the "frame" of the old mesh? Also how complicated is it to install in the Grill (Does it come with the SVT emblem?

I may be in depending on time frame and my finances. I can always find uses for more Ely mesh. People, even if you just want to do your grille, go ahead and get the full set, as you can see this buy doesn't come around too often, never when you might want some extra for another project.

does that mesh have the oval circle cutout style? If so the ovals look VERY small. I have seen many cars w/ Elky Mesh where some ovals are a little bit bigger than that and there is a little more metal in btw the ovals (to give it a little more "beefier look") Maybe its just the angle of the different pics I'm not sure. Elky are you considering different sizes for the mesh or do you typically only use a standard size?

i dont know if anyone has painted it black yet, but yes i can be done.
if you are going to paint it, you will have to clean it very good. it has a layer of oil on it. this oil is left over from the manufacturing process.
another option since the mesh is aluminum, is to have it anodized. this wouldnt be the cheapest option, but it can be done in a bunch of different colors and it wont chip off.
I know this is an Interest Check but when is it estimated this will go down?

It is?? The only similar product I could find was steel, also coated with an oil film - de-greasing optional. Steel sure would make painting/chrome easier... And aluminum won't do for my second project I had lined up for the mesh. Gotta have steel for that one.
