Just got exhaust res removed for $30, cheapest I could get. Guy said there is no way to put a hi-flow cat on it?!? Isn't he wrong? He said there would be no way to bridge from manifold to cat under the car. Anybody with how-to on doing sway bar switch, and front and rear bushings switch, tell me. Also, I removed part of dealer sticker and you can see the outline of where it was. What do I do to fix that? How much longer for street flight CAI? Oh yeah, it's good to be back...(formally Redcon96I4)

You can put a high flow cat on you would just have to move the flex pipe. My high flow cat is under the car (since I have the header) and my flex pipe was removed. I will be putting one on very soon. I don't like the rasp.

Build #2 went on my car last night. It's a much cleaner install. Hope to dyno it after I get back from Vegas (gotta let the car warm up to it).

Goo Gone and a new coat of wax did wonders for me.

Yes, basically you want to replace the stock resonator with a straight thru muffler or a "real" (efficient) resonator/muffler like a Edelbrock.

I used goo gone but it left an outline where the sticker was. I'll probably eventually put an emblem there, but I don't know when. I'm also afraid to remove my pin stripes if it's gonna leave an outline. And about the removing resonators, unless you really have problems with strange noises or if you just have plenty of money to spend, don't worry about gettin' something to take the noise away. It's an improvement over stock no matter how you look at it.

Bare in mind that I can't look at your car in person but from the sound of it what you have left isn't residue. The line you described sounds like paint fade. I'm assuming your car is one of the dark red colors they offered on 96's(another assumption). Most of the darker colors have shown little resistence to paint fading over time. What you might try is to buy some paint cleaner(Mothers has a good one)and rub that in very good all around the border of where the badge used to be. I'm guessing the paint may be darker where the badge was than everywhere else so you need to use the cleaner all around that area and see if it helps. Paint cleaner should be followed by a good polish to see if it helped at all. HTH.
