yeah. i only dynoed at 276 horse power to the front wheels. my best quarter is 14.1 @ 98. my best mph is a 100.6 though. that was with a 14.5. weird huh. but you would give me a race.

no the mph sounds okay, sounds like your 14.5 you got a bad 60foot time or spun tires which gives more mph. What kind of 60 foots and 300ft you getting?

Dont think the race would be much to watch, but your car rides nice and looks better than the "turbo Can"....

well i havnt tried the new Nitto 555R drag radials yet cause i am scared about the stock diff. so i am running on stock rims and tires at the track and i pulled a best 60 foot of 2.58 seconds. R/T's are good with a .625, but i just light the tires up in smoke when it starts making boost. its actually quite the site to see. people in the stands all laughed as i spun till about the 1/8mile. i have some videos of what happens when i make boost. they were posted in the pics and vid section by World Tour or you can email me and i can send them to ya.

Dont bother with nitto's those tires sux just get some real slicks, like i am getting sometime this week hopefully! dang UPS! Yes, just dont wheel hop and your dif will be okay. Have you guys clued Phat in on the "turbo-can"? I'd hate to see him drive all the way to Louisville to be setup!

i have not a clue what you are talking about. someone is running a turbo? if thats so i cant wait.

raced a 1996 GSZR900 tonight. beat him to 90mph but then he said "good bye." raced 3 times and each time was the same outcome.

just a hint... paul brady ward has a mirage that rans 13's before his new race tires, and before the new 16g turbo.

also if you havent relized yet, this is a contour ENTHUSIUST group, and not a contour owner group. I sold mine in febuary and bought a 1998 firebird. rrxpp9... what ever chris's name is just solt his for a mustang. Mighty max, has never owned one, but he drives a maxima. 2quick4u drives a lowered s10, and has never owned a contour. paul drives an eclipse, a mirage, and he has not seen his conour in a while. Crazyjoe24V drives a 2000 SE, but owns two old first gen RX7's that are in pieces in our yard ;)Cindy drives a 98 SVT. Contourcrazy drives a 95 tour. 95markVIII drive a lincon markVIII and he autox's it cindy and james are married and together they own their daily drivers plus one first gen rx7, and one second gen rx7 convertable. 2quick4u (mike), CrazyJoe24v (joe) and I (pat) are roommates but we didnt know each other before we all met from this board. That is what paul ment by dont get lost looking for the crowd of contours. So now you know a little bit about every one, and if I forgot someone, i am sorry but I need to go to class, so I was rushing.
