Mom's 95 Contour (2.5V6) developed a bad vibration. Discovered the bracket that holds the carrier bearing for the passenger side front axle had come completely off the engine. Two of the three bolts were broken off in the block and the third bolt was still in but holding nothing but a broken off corner of the bracket. Got it apart, welded the bracket, and got it back together. Anybody else ever hear of anything like this? What would have caused that? Much improved, but still have a more minor vibration between 35 and 40 mph.
