WOW is all I have to say about this little Neon!

strapped down....

now you strap in for this one.........
results......how about 272.9 hp & 311.5 lb-ft at the wheels!
(these are NOT SAE (or is it SEA) corrected numbers)
and as you can see in the graph, my WGA vacuum line was having issues so it wasn't holding all the boost it should have. Gotta fix that and flatten out the curve, and probably have a higher peak torque closer to 3200 rpm's
ok, enough of the blabing on to the graph...

Power mods:
Mopar Stage 1
Mopar 2-1/2" cat-back exhaust
Injen short ram intake
MSD coil pack w/ 8.5mm wires
and that's it for power stuff!

boost was a 17-18psi spike falling to 14psi at redline. Fixing that vacuum line will be my weekend project. Probably just going to replace it all w/ new lines and zip tie every other vacuum line I can find.

I think you hit a few wrong keys, Dave. You typed 311 ft. lbs. ...

Just lookin' at the graphs again...
Is 4,500 when the boost starts dropping off? If so, I'd love to see what that little engine could crank out if 17psi held.

With the leak, ya it started dropping at 4500.

the small factory turbo has a hard time holding 17psi at redline, even with the waste gate welded closed. oh well. Besides on the Stage 1 injectors, 16psi at redline is "safe", 17 is pushing it.

We'll just have to see what the future holds......new intercooler, Stage 2 (or 3 if I'm feeling rich). I think 300+hp will be seen some day.

well, considering it's all under MOPAR ECM control with no other engine management, it's not too bad.

Thats awesome numbers ! I would have one of those in the garage if I could get over the NEON part of the SRT4. Car is awesome to drive, ride in, everything. But then you get out and well . . . Just dont care for the body style.
Congrads again on those numbers, I see those cars everywhere always wanting to race. I have yet to lose in little runs on the highway but I think in your case you might have me. -B.
Does that one have the LSD ?

I might do another one. I dyno when I first got the car turboed, but the fuel was going crazy at 4000rpm. I put down 230+ whp, dont really remember, I was freakin out because the car sound like it wanted to blow up and 6psi ! Now that I have 30lb injectors and the ADC chip, the car runs great. It would be interesting to see what it can put down to redline. We should go sometime. -B.

Mine did 245 and 258tq running very rich at 8 psi. Keyser then bumped the timing up and leaned it out. I put it hotter plugs at it felt like a different car...then I ran it ocasionally at 10psi...so I think about 265 is a pretty conservative estimate to what mine did before I tore the motor out. Although I think it was still a bit rich...horse van vouch for that...his eyes were burning while driving behind me.

We'll see what happens when I finish this time!!!
