I've noticed the directions of using the built-in child seat in the owner's manual. I never seen or heard of one before(in a Contour). Just curious if anyone has one or has seen one(wondering if Ford ever made one at all).

My Wife asked the dealer about the child seat back when she bought her Contour. They told her it wasn't available anymore. They also said there are so many new state and Federal laws governing child restraints that they stopped supplying it. Let the aftermarket meet the code. I have some old brochures with pictures of a kid in the seat.
