i was doing my normal thing and going under the car making sure everything looks and is tight like they should be and for some reason i looked up at the spring and saw this.


now i'm guessing that i definately need new springs immediately, and also that this is probably the reason i hear a popping sounds sometimes.

HOLY CRAP!??!?!

yeah man, you def need to get that fixed asap. looks like the coil just snapped apart and its just chilling there.

heh, I remember something like that. Was driving around and kept hearing a CLANK from the front of the car whenever I hit a bump. Was like, wtf? So I took it in to the shop, the put in up on teh lift, then pulled out hte bottom portion of my spring from the strut tower

Needless to say I went home and ordered the BAT handling kit

Isn't there a recall on front springs? Maybe there's a similar problem with your rears.
