Well since the contour was acting up so much latly, I was getting tired of fixing it. So Im going with a 2000 Honda Civic SE, going to college in the fall, so I need something that is realiable.

Focus would have been just as reliable, easier to work on, faster, better looking, probably cheaper, and it's tastier. Mustang, not sure bout reliability, though I guess if you kept it running good... Down with civics.

Hey, you really can't blame him. Every time my Windstar acts up, I start shopping for Honda Odysseys.
If all you want is bland, reliable, transportation, the Civic is a perfect choice.
Besides, he's still open to the idea of another Ford, and even if he isn't, so what? Nothing wrong with Hondas. It's the racer wannabes that drive me nuts, no matter what they're driving.
Function before fashion.

Honda's are damn good cars. Run forever and the civics get pretty good gas mileage. I think he made a good choice. Congrats on the new car. Try www.honda-tech.com but be careful... lots of [censored] talk. Just read and don't bother posting. Otherwise its pretty informative.
