Wiring up a new HU, it wouldnt' turn on when I turned the key. I removed it and reinstalled my old HU, same problem. I seem to have caused some other type of problem wiring the HU without disconnecting the battery...I know I know bad idea....so anyway, I looked in the manual, there is only one fuse for the radio, and it appears fine. I can't find any other fuse listed in the manual for that. Car starts, lights/bells/whistles work....just the stereo won't work....what can I do?

Double check all the fuses under the dash.

I agree, not that long ago my cruise control didnt work, my turn signals didnt work, my a/c didnt work, my shifter was screwed up and it was all because of one 15 Amp fuse. So just go through and look at them all.

Fuse 34 is common to both radio and remote entry circuits.


98 Mystique LS v6 atx 110,000km

stock CD on LS, cass on LX
spoiler, tinted windows on LS only
4 wheel discs on LX only
