well lets see this will be the third time im repainting the back bumper on my tour .... well last wednesday it was raining out, but then it stopped, so basically the road was wet....my mom wanted to take my car shopping...so being the nice guy that i am i had no objections...so at about 8:00 pm i get a call from a north bergen police officer saying my mom was in a lil fender bender....but oh, he says the car isnt too bad...turns out that some moran was speeding down kennedy blvd.(those who live in my area-hudson county- in nj will know this road) if you can drive on kennedy blvd you can drive anywhere...so back to the story...the idiot was speeding and wanted to switch lanes...well as he was doing this he rammed into the back of my car....everyone was ok, despite being shook up.. but the back bumper took a nice hit....the guy didnt even speak english and had someone on his cell phone speak for him....how nice it is to live in union city...english is a second language here...well none the less he has insurance suprisingly, and he will have to pay for all damages...

BTW: i must say that the svt rear bumper i have on there is really a trooper...it held up great, besides the fact that the paint is chipped and the trunk is out of alignment along with the steering, and also the back of the car now sqeaks... ....but despite this the bumper will be fixed and i might just have to drop my car now ...we will see what happens next...all in all this is just a case where we see how people cant drive for sh$t .....

had almost the smae thing happen to me 2 days ago...guy went through a light and hit my rear drivers side quater pnale and scraped the side of the bumper. plus teh alignment is all screwed up too .

This is why i got a manuel, my mom and everyone else in my family has no idea of how to drive it. Besides my Grandma and Grandpa who say automatics are for women.(not being sexsits, just thier oppinon.) SO i can't have an auto even if i want one. Not that i do.

got the same thing in common here. Only my immediate family knows how to drive stick. If anyone asks to borrow it i just say "i'd love to lend you my car but you cant drive stick"

if i buy an auto, even with my own money my grandparnets won't stop makeing fun of me till they pass on. it's pretty bad being made fun of in russian by a 72 year old.

The can you drive me question dosn't annoy me as much cuz i love driving the tour. It's can you teach me to drive a stick that gets me.

see now you guys make me regret not getting a manual car...at the time when i bought the tour i got a great deal so i didnt think anything of it...UNTIL NOW
