hey whats going on guys...quick ?? for u....i want to replace my fog lights...ive had trouble with the stock ones for a long time now, and having one fog light on while the other one lasts for about a week then goes out, doesnt sit too well with me, so im just going to buy new ones, replacing the whole fog light... is the installation easy, or should i just have a place do it for me...and also what is a good type or brand to get...autozone-circuit city..i know they have a variety....thanx....

Actually, what I'm waiting for is the PIAA 510 group buy. It didn't have enough interest when it was started a while back. Maybe one of these days it'll go again and I'll actually have fog lights that work more than a month before crapping out!

BAT sells lights that fit in the stock location on non svt's. I had problems on my 95 mystique cuz one of the casings had a crack, water kept getting in and blowing my bulbs...a bit of silicone fixed that.

There is a guy on ebay selling PIAA 510's for 150, if you can't wait for a GB thats a decent price.

yeah, I had the same problem as you.
My boy works at discount auto parts here in FL. So, I took about 2 hours and looked through every catalog to find the right foglights for my SVT. I happen to like the way Lexus IS300's look with the bright amber fogs... so that's what I got. They are 4'' around, and mount right in the stock spot, in the stock bracket, with just very minor dremeling (because the foglight is deeper than stock one). So, the ones I got are 4'', exactly the same dimensions as stock, have clear glass, and an amber background... and have 100 watt H3 bulbs... can you say wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy brighter than the headlights even with 65watt silverstars in the headlights. They have been on the car flawlessly for 3 months now and I love them. PM me if you want more info/prices/etc. I will have pics of them up in a couple weeks.
If you don't like amber light, they also have regular (stock color), and white (like a silverstar).

We're going to put the Marauder Cibies in place of the stockers. Yeah, a light that costs like 15 bucks needs to be replaced, I'm hearin' you man. We've got the Cibies, just need to get in gear and switch them out. Quality lights, glass lens, win-win scenario. Another neat deal is that the glass lens can accept the film to prevent impact damage/pitting.
