whats going on guys....i searched for this but came up empty...the problem i have is that the light in my car that lights up the driveshaft or what ever it is called(P R D 2 1) well that area, the light doesnt go on....i checked the fuse box but i dont know which one it wuold be...the manual wasnt specific on which one it was....

If your dash lights work, it wont be the fuse. I would have to agree that it's either the bulb or the wiring.

I would not rule out the fuse yet....I ran into a problem when my head lights would not turn on. I thought it was bad wiring or a buld....turns out it was the fuse under the hood. The fuses on these cars are tricky....sometimes you encounter a fuse that you think controls a few things, but it really only controls one thing.

thanx guys im gonna have to check the fuse box...but im not sure which one it would be listed under...the manual wasnt specific...what should i be lookin for...and also if it is a bulb that is out, then where is this bulb located? >>>do i have to take it apart or something?? thanx

Try checking out fuses #31 and #34. Both are 7.5 amp (brown). #31 controls the instrument panel and #34 is for the interior lights, electric side mirrors and clock. I don't see anything in the engine compartment fuse box that could be considered. Good luck.
