We use Olypmic on everything wood around our house, after 5 years in constant direct sunlight our deck looks as new as the day we applied the treatment (also comes in stains, but we chose natural), just make sure to wait at least a month before putting on a stain or waterproofer. We could tell when the wood was ready because it became a really pretty honey color. hope this helps you out, good luck and the fence looks great!!
