Previous owner of my Tour II installed some stupid touring tires which I was going to ditch as soon as I can. The tires are new, and winter is coming so I thought I'll live with them till spring and then buy something decent. I didn't think much about it and I didn't look too closely.

However just yesterday I discovered that the tires are WRONG SIZE (205/65 instead of 205/60) This amounts to 3% speedo error... Why did he have to install this wrong size I dunno

Anyway, my question is this: am I hurting anything? I mean, I understand that handling sucks this way (I have Tour I to compare) But winter is coming anyway... Am I doing any harm to suspension parts or anythyng else?

Thanks a lot,
--alex

Thanks Luke,

like I said, I have my '96 to compare, so I noticed all those things you are talking about. I think I'll have to live with this all around wrong tires till spring. By that time I'll have enough money to make a day for Tire Rack The plan is to order two sets of tires and SVT wheels, move 15" wheels from Tour II to Tour I and install SVT wheels on Tour I.
