past weekend was definitely full of fun.
was like spring zing 2002 revisted.
once again making me really wish we all lived in one big house so I could see you all every stinkin' day (plus you could pay my rent, I could stay unemployed and just be happy cooking and cleaning and entertaining)!
we'd have to have a HUUUUGE garage though!

(and when I say "you all" I really do mean all of you, not just the people that were present this weekend)

Take it from me, the difference in smoothness is incredible.

Before the DMD the vibration of the engine was best described by Elky as disgusting, with the DMD there's so little vibration its amazing.

Before the DMD I didn't have to see the tach to tell how fast the engine was reving because I could feel the vibrations through the seat and in the floor. After installing the DMD I honstly can not tell how the engine is reving by feel since the vibration is so little. The only way I can tell how fast I'm reving is from the exhasut drone or by looking at the tach.

Instalation I thought was going to be a pain, but actually went suprisingly smooth. We spent all of 5 hours, but that included a 1 hour break for food, and a 2 hour hunt for a bolt with the same thread pitch as the DMD bolt but longer so we could draw the DMD onto the crank with it. Plus this was our first time, I'm sure we can knock the times down to 2 hours or less with practice.

perhaps, but it's not like we're all just gonna do one car at a time either.

Although certianly not required when the damper is changed, if you want to replace your accessory drive belt (serpentine belt) this would be an excellent time to do so.
