I am also at work, but seen as how I've been on all weekend there isn't much left for me to do. You guys can always drop by and entertain me.

This doesn't appear to be panning out. We need to get some more commitment. I guess the only way to do this right is to have a once a month meet that is planned well in advance so people can get their schedules straight. I know some poeple work shift-work so how far in advance do you know your work scheduldes? If we were to plan for 2 weeks from now would it be possible to get the time off? Let me know guys and we can start to plan something.

This is exactly what I thought when I decided to cancel the weekly meets. I decided that monthly meets is a much better idea, because it allows people to get their schedules straight.

If you guys are interested in a meet, we're meeting at Mosport on the weekend of August 17th-18th for the ALMS (American LeMans Series). We've been invited by Leo Capaldi (#68 SPEED World Challenge Racing Cougar) to watch his race.

If you're interested, please visit Leo's WEBSITE .

Thanks,
Mike

There are a number of people who dont want to go out to Mosport for the "monthly meet" so I was going to post one for another day in August so how does August 10, or 24 sound. I know these are Saturdays but who said they have to be on a Sunday and also who said they had to be a night. We could do something in the afternoon/morning or whatever is everyone's preference.

Cough* London area Cough meet * Cough Cough. Seriously I was supposed to be getting alternating weekends off over the summer but this seems to have fallen through. I'd take this up with the manager but he can be a real di**. Ohh wait I am the manager....son of a..... at least with the weekly meets if I was off on a Sunday I could do the 170 km drive to the meet otherwise with monthly meets the frequency that I can make it lessens significantly.

Well...
Kitchener/Waterloo is a central point between TO and London laugh Sorry I couldn't get back to you Gerald. I was out chauffering the parents around the GTA.

I was just in Mississauga, and I think the Miata club was at Krispy Kreme. It'd be kinda nice for people to do a double-take to see a bunch of Contours/Mystiques all grouped together.

Those days seem good. I just can't do the 17th because of a Dyno Day/golf match. The 18th, I'm planning to go to Mosport. Timewise, let's aim for the early afternoon. Do we just want to veg? Or shall we do something like mini-golf, movies, etc.?

No probs dude. I just spent the afternoon hanging out at my friend's patio in St. Jacobs drinking beer and chatting with the customers. Not a bad way to spend a lazy afternoon. cool
