...with my mother's Maxima. My SVT is waiting for a new clutch so I borrowed her car on Saturday. The guy in front of me hit his brakes hard and when I swerved to avoid hitting him, I didn't make it. I hit his Outback with the passenger headlight area of the Maxima. The airbags went off and the front end is pretty well shot, but his car was only scratched. What a way to spend a Saturday night isn't it? The good thing is that no one was hurt, but damn does breathing in airbag powder suck! Anyway, the car is going to be totaled, so if anyone needs 99 Maxima parts I might have them available soon!

Too true. I thought that 4 weeks ago when I totaled the MSP. Well, look at it like this. You've been paying premiums for all these years and zero claims. Now the insurance companies have to pony up.

What do they say on the insurance commercials. An accident every 5 seconds in the US. My g/f was a victim Sat. in her M6. She got rear ended (and not by me). Only damage was to the clear coat. I might be able to wheel it out even. If not she has good insurance. Just seems like nothing compares to original paint.
