As you may or may not know , my mom crashed her Mystique a couple weeks back . I've been going absolutely NUTS trying to find her a suitable/comparable replacement for it (in her price range ) . I've got a couple viable candidates , so if you have an open CARFAX account , I'd REALLY appreciate if you coupld run a couple down for me (mom would appreciate it too) .

I don't have a carfax, but based on the number of reports that came up for each one, here's how I would rate them in order of most reliable.

TAURUS GL
MERCURY MYSTIQUE LS
FORD CONTOUR/GL/SPORT (16 reports = i'd stay away)

The Taurus really is a cream-puff , and would suit her just fine , but I think she's got Contique on the brain . I may still push her towards the Taurus ...
