For some reason WMP 11 beta won't let me search album info for my music because it says I am not connected to the internet when I am clearly connected to the internet. I think my settings are all right (same as WMP 10) but this happens... anyone else have this problem?

perhaps the best place to check would be microsofts wmp11 page, or their knowledgebase?
i haven't noticed the problem, but i don't use it for organising my music or anything.

the only reason i use wmp is for ripping my cd's for my indash mp3 player in the cari don't wanna upgrade because i down't know if wmp 11 supports non drm cd ripping to mp3
and to be honest wmp 10 works perfect for ripping cds

Like TGO said, its a beta that has only bene out for a month. That being said, CEG is probably not the best place the check for help on that. Try support.microsoft.com or google. Its probably an error in the beta version.
