My buddy from Michigan drove down last weekend and he brought his S2000! Boy is it fun to drive! I was really impressed how it handled and the power it had! The thing feels like its on rails. The down side is it is really small on the inside. If you guys/gals get a chance to drive one I highly recommend it.

I really want to test drive one. A S2000 is high on my list of "fun cars that I'd like to own after grad school"

I always thought those would be cool modified out. My HS buddy's dad had one. Very unreliable. Might be how it was maintained. I think it had like a 2.8 or something in it.

Unreliable, but easily capable of a sbc swap or bbc for that matter. The year I bought my Wrangler ('94) was the year they quit making them I needed to trade so I couldn't get used...one day I'll find a decent one, maybe

That is a really sweet S2000

My neighbors got the 1st one that ever hit michigan. they were 2nd on a list about 150 customers long. The first on the list turned out to be a dealer so he got canceled out. While in the dealership signing the papers some of the other people on the list came in and offered him big $$ to not get the car and let one of them buy it. Upwards of $15000-20000 just to walk away from having your name on a list!! But they got it anyways. Man your right, very quick and like its on rails!

Who cares? It's still quick & a blast to drive. Bit overpriced but so much fun. Like a Duratec has it.
