Well, long story short - I put a hole in my oil pan and drove 15 miles before realizing I had lost all my oil.... I took these pics the morning after the event - all of the damage happened at night, that's why I didn't notice the oil sooner. Notice the sign saying "road closed to thru traffic". Notice the obvious line swerving around the signs? (that's oil) More oil shots facing the other direction as first pic. The gas station I finally pulled over at... and more oil... You can see the oil line coming into the gas station here: And here you will notice the last of the oil comes out... just enough to leave a mark on the concrete but not enough to soak into the kitty litter: here is the oil pan... and hole... here is me: dummy here is my broken car in the road, waiting for oil pan and gasket..: Oil pan from Thinkmoto, new gasket, and oil... Everything was ok except for the oil pan... No internals were shot and the temp never rose above "normal" that is another reason why I didn't notice something was wrong... I thought I trashed the motor but the smoke was comming from the oil burning on the Y pipe and exhaust... my friend pulled the car with his truck for another 15 miles to the front of my house.... there was literally no oil left. that was a bad night - but it was all my fault.
