I need your guys/gals help. I was looking to get a "Project/collectors" car. I know the cars I am looking at are way opposites but I really like them and I can only afford one. The 3 cars I was looking at was a 1957 Bel Air, 1959 Bel Air or a 03/04 Cobra SVT. I can get a 03/04 Vert Cobra for around $26K and I could get a 57 bel air for about the same price. Or I could get a 1959 bel air for around $12K. What I would do is put down $3k or $4K and finance the rest. If you guys/gals were in my position what car would you go with. Which car do you think is a better buy?
Or should I save my $$$ and buy another investment property?

+100000, cars will only deteriorate in value right now, buy some preoperty, wait 4 years and sell it for a decent profit.

thats what i was thinking....
you cant go wrong with a 57 chevy. they are only appreciating in value. its only one of the most desirable american cars of all time. hopefully this is just for weekends as it does not make a great daily driver. not so great gas mileage PLUS the fact that you have to worry about it being stolen everywhere you take it.
the terminator cobras hold their value well (compared to other regular contemporary cars) but is a gas hog as well. i DO love driving mine though
im not familiar with the 59 bel air but it doesnt sound tooo hot, but sounds like a more affordable project though..

The same place that you finance a used Contour. As long as the value of the asset is within a certain percentage of the desired loan, the bank will finance for you.
And, if for whatever reason that fails, you can finance it via a personal loan.

Property is always good, but remember that it is not really an investment unless it can sustain itself or pay for itself.
Take a rental house, it is called an "investment" but really its a sink for money due to repairs, mortgage, taxes, and other fees. As long as the rent coming in covers those expenses, then it is an investment. Property by itself is a drain on your money due to property tax unless it is farmed or utilized in some way. Of course if you bought a piece of beach front land and just paid the tax for years until the area around it built up...then sold it...then it would be a gain and considered an investment.
So if you got the money for property, I'd do that but not at the expense of having a fun hobby too. $10K for a completely built up car can be an enjoyment and cheaper than a new car.
